Aromas : Enticing aromas of Bing cherry, dark chocolate, lightly toasted oak with a hint of blackberry jam and vanilla.
Palate : Striking flavors of ripe raspberry, blackberry, cocoa, and hints of vanilla linger harmoniously. Full yet elegant
on the palate,with vibrant fruit and very approachable tannins. This wine has a long and velvety finish.
Classic yet complex, romantic but not ostentatious, Quilt is Joe Wagner’s tribute to the character of Napa Valley and its rolling patchwork of vineyards. Each wine in the collection is crafted from vineyards hand-selected by Joe, a native of Napa Valley and fifth-generation winemaker.
As a fifth generation Napa Valley winemaker, Joe’s roots run deep in these rich soils. At 19 he started working
alongside his father at Caymus Vineyards. Then, in 2001, created Belle Glos, with a focus on vineyard-designated Pinot Noirs from California’s best coastal regions.
His love for Napa wine and the singular fusion of natural elements, history, and spirit found in the Napa Valley are
the foundation for Quilt.
Joe lives in Napa Valley, has six children, and maintains a healthy balance between his family life and a passionate dedication to his business.
