Very silky and floral, this red reminds me of Burgundy with its bilberry, violet and raspberry aromas and flavors. The grainy tannins show the other side to this wine, which needs time for the two components to balance. Ends with a long, intense, fruit-filled finish. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Campaccio was created to express the Terrabianca philosophy to the fullest. It is the most representative of the estate, and exemplifies its originality of flavors and aromas. A blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, it is aged 12 months in oak and a further 12 months in bottle.
The wine’s deep, brilliant ruby color with garnet hues preludes unbelievable richness & complexity on the palate, where the multi-dimensional flavors and aromas evoke a textured sensation of plenitude and volume, lingering and evolving into an exquisite finish.
